## Intentional empties / caveats

| **Remittance USD / %GDP** | **Out of scope** here. Flows live in `topics/remittances/`. Dual story: stock ≠ remittances — never paste remittance numbers into stock cells. |
| **Sex / age splits** | UNDESA publishes sex splits; not locked into this scoreboard (keeps dual-panel readable). Available in `_raw/undesa_2024_*.xlsx` if a later panel needs them. |
| **Full SEA-11 bilateral corridors** | Top-5 corridors locked only for **PH + MY/TH/VN/ID**. Other AMS corridor ranks left out rather than partially inventing a “SEA matrix”. |
| **Corridor residual cells** | Some UNDESA bilateral cells look symmetric or historically surprising (e.g. Malaysia↔Bangladesh near-mirror stocks). Rank tables use verified cells; do **not** narrate odd mid-rank pairs as settled corridor stories without a primary national source. |
| **PH→Singapore bilateral cell** | No exact Philippines-origin / Singapore-destination row found in the dest×origin extract used for top-5 (PH top destinations start USA/CAN/SAU/ARE/AUS). Do not invent a PH–SG stock share. |
| **National OFW / PSA stock** | PSA / DMW deployment and stock concepts differ from UNDESA foreign-born definitions — **not spliced** into the UNDESA scoreboard. Optional future secondary badge only. |
| **OECD DIOC / ILO labour migration** | Not required for SEA-11 stock coverage; skipped to avoid mixing definitions. |
| **Net migration on stock panels** | `net_migration_annual` is a **flow** (WDI). Keep off immigrant/emigrant stock charts; badge as flow if shown at all. |
| **Tourism receipts** | Still GAP elsewhere (WDI stale) — not this pack. |

## Not gaps (do not invent)

- Philippines’ tiny immigrant stock (**0.08%**) is real — classic large-diaspora / low-immigrant profile.
- Singapore’s ~**49%** immigrant share is real — hub, not a PH peer bar.
- Exact WDI = UNDESA immigrant totals for SEA-11 mid-2024 are a **cross-check pass**, not a second independent census.
- Empty remittance columns in this pack are intentional — see companion pack.
