Key findings from this pack
- Finance remains the largest industry, while manufacturing more than doubled. The US is the largest 2024 source at US$42bn / 18.6%.
- Singapore’s share describes hub receipt, not an observed US-to-Singapore route or final destination. Partial host-sector coverage cannot establish a complete national ranking.
- Read source, year and as_of; gaps are not zeros.
Methods & coverage
All flows use BoP FDI, not approvals or registrations. AIR 2025 Table 1.3 locks US 2024 at US$42bn / 18.6%, revising the earlier portal-summary US$74bn. AIR also revises 2023 totals and US inflows; the original source-map 2023 series remains a labelled historical snapshot and must not be spliced into AIR growth rates. Shares and growth rates use published unrounded values; rounded dollar cells cannot reproduce them exactly. EU overlaps member countries. Full AMS×sector and PH/TH/VN host×sector amounts remain gaps; TLS is outside AIR coverage.
