Fiscal & debt
2026 projections. IMF WEO attribution and the 2026-09-06 as_of are confirmed by the supplied fiscal-interest writer note and debt context rows; the original fiscal CSV is preserved unchanged. Gross debt alone is not a measure of fiscal distress; see Singapore and Timor-Leste notes.
Remittances
Latest non-missing observations within 2020–2025; years can differ. Older-only series are excluded here and available in annual history. Missing values are never zero. Dollar amounts are nominal; received and paid flows are separate indicators.
Manufacturing & China+1
The matrix attributes manufacturing values to WDI but omits extraction dates and direct indicator URLs. The WDI link is a definition reference; as_of is the library snapshot. Singapore is a hub reference. Electronics export definitions differ across countries and must not be treated as a harmonized series. Manufacturing share does not establish China+1 causation.
Fiscal interest burden
PH and MY observations are both 2024. Other years: Cambodia 2023, Laos and Timor-Leste 2022, Myanmar 2019 (stale). Brunei and Vietnam have no observations; Indonesia’s series ends in 2009 and is withheld. Singapore* has an asset/CPF-linked fiscal structure. Timor-Leste’s Petroleum Fund structure limits comparability. This is a revenue share, not a borrowing rate.
Tourism recovery
Arrivals only: country tourism receipts remain unseeded. Malaysia includes tourists and excursionists from 2024, so overnight-only comparisons need care. Timor-Leste is included in AKF2025. Country 2023 observations are retained, but country-level 2019 recovery rates are not supplied.
